Surakarta, October 4, 2025 — The Pro Futsal League (PFL) 2025/2026 officially kicked off with the season’s opening match held at GOR Indoor Manahan, Surakarta, on Saturday (October 4) at 11:30 AM (WIB). Cosmo JNE secured a thrilling victory over Unggul FC Malang with a final score of 4–3.
Cosmo JNE took the lead through Israr Megantara in the 11th minute, before Unggul FC turned things around with a brace from Andres Bastidas (24’, 30’). Cosmo JNE quickly responded with three consecutive goals by Xavier (31’), Higuchi (32’), and Reza Gunawan (38’), making it 4–2. Adam Ahlan pulled one back for Unggul FC in the 39th minute, but Cosmo JNE held on to secure the win until the final whistle.
Cosmo JNE’s head coach, Monotori Baba, admitted it was a challenging match.
“It was a very tough game. They started with good pressure and we struggled to win the ball, but our strong mentality and teamwork made the difference. Alhamdulillah, we won,” he said.
Meanwhile, Unggul FC assistant coach Agus Abdul Rachman acknowledged the competitive nature of the game.
“We’ve met Cosmo several times before, and both teams always analyze each other closely. Congratulations to Cosmo for earning the three points today. There were moments when we could have taken the lead, but it wasn’t easy despite our players giving their best,” he stated.
This victory serves as a strong start for Cosmo JNE in the new PFL 2025/2026 season.
Beyond the on-court action, PFL 2025/2026 also offers fans a unique experience through the PFL Fanzone, held at GOR Manahan on October 4 from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The fanzone features various exciting activities, including “Meet The Coach” sessions with Amril Daulay and Eka Sanjaya, PFL Karaoke, and a special bazaar presented by Pemodalan Nasional Madani (PNM).
