Surakarta, October 4, 2025 — The second match of the Pro Futsal League (PFL) 2025/2026 featured Moncongbulo FC and Fafage Banua at GOR Indoor Manahan, Surakarta, on Saturday (October 4) at 2:00 p.m. WIB. The game was intense and full of pressure, with Fafage Banua emerging as the winner after defeating Moncongbulo FC with a narrow 3–2 score.
Fafage Banua took an early lead through a goal by Faturrahman (3'). However, Moncongbulo FC managed to equalize with a strike from Ardi Rahman (13’). Fafage Banua regained the lead through Armia Zainul (23’) before Fhandy Permana (32’) brought the score level again at 2–2. It did not take long for Muhammad Faturrahman to score his second goal (34'), securing a 3–2 victory for Fafage Banua.
Head Coach of Fafage Banua, Deny Handoyo, praised his players’ fighting spirit and focus until the final whistle. “The match was very tight. We took the lead early, but Moncongbulo managed to equalize. The players showed great character and remained composed to secure the win. This is a very meaningful result for us,” he said after the match.
Meanwhile, Head Coach of Moncongbulo FC, Jose Maria Jimenez Alonsosaid his team played with discipline despite the unfavorable result. “We gave a good fight and put pressure on the opponent several times. However, losing focus in the final minutes cost us the match. There is still much to evaluate,” he stated.
With this victory, Fafage Banua successfully recorded a strong start in the 2025/2026 PFL season.
