Surakarta, October 5, 2025 — The Pro Futsal League (PFL) 2025/2026 officially concluded its first-week series of matches with a game between Blacksteel FC Papua and Nanzaby Family Football Club at the Manahan Indoor Arena, Surakarta City, on Sunday (5/10) at 19.00 WIB. The match was played seriously, with Blacksteel FC Papua demonstrating a solid performance to secure a convincing 4–1 victory.
The first half was tight and scoreless, as both teams were cautious in building their attacks. Entering the second half, the game intensity increased significantly. Vinicius (23’) opened the scoring for Blacksteel FC Papua with a clinical finish in front of the goal. Toninho (31’) managed to equalize for Nanzaby FC, before Blacksteel FC Papua quickly regained control of the game with three additional goals scored by Matheus (36’), E. Soumilena (37’), and an own goal by the opposing goalkeeper, Farhan Lubis (39’).
Head Coach of Blacksteel FC Papua, Sergio Lacerda Livramento, highly praised his players for maintaining focus and dominating the game in the second half. "In the first half, we struggled to break down the opponent's defense, but the players showed excellent composure and effectiveness. This victory is the result of hard work, discipline, and the commitment of the entire team," he said after the match.
Meanwhile, Head Coach of Nanzaby FC, Dadang Iskandar, acknowledged the superiority of the opponent and felt his team needed to improve game consistency. "Our team played quite well in the first half and were able to withstand the opponent's pressure. However, in the second half, the players' focus dropped slightly, giving Blacksteel room to gain momentum. We will conduct an evaluation so we can perform more consistently in the next match," he explained.
This victory reflects the consistency and maturity of Blacksteel FC Papua's play, marking an important step in their efforts to build a stable performance throughout the Pro Futsal League 2025/2026 season.
